Once upon a college town in California one girl named Miss Lisa was the best mixologist in the world.  And she made the other girl, Adrie, the most amazing cocktail she'd ever had.  Conversations later, the girls agreed on many things (see list below).

Hello my name is Miss Lisa and I like Mayo -not Miracle Whip.  In the realm of random truths -I've forgotten more live music than most people will ever see.  Rancid, The Dead -there's a soundtrack to everyone's life, I think mine is just a little louder.

I'm a Nor Cal girl who loves L.A.  and that is how my personal style has evolved.  From early on I found that rack after rack -just wasn't doing it for me.  Needs not being met and all.  Or worse, I find my niche and get to watch the price climb as it goes in and out of trendy time.  Point in case.  My Chuck Taylors.  1st pair- $7.00. Last pair $45.00... OOH... Or my straight legged jeans being replaced by flares!  Hello fashion Gods, there are days when a girl doesn't want to wear freakin' flared jeans! 

Crafty girl that I am, I've taken fashion into my own hands.  Girl Mafia is the staple of chick fashion.  We make shirts and stuff for girls who know what they want.

Hello my name is Adrie and I like relevancy and nacho cheese sauce.  Not necessarily in that order. Fashion for me mirrors my attention span -short and fleeting!  I've done retro chic.  Been a rainbow brite vision, platform stomping rave baby.  Simple and classic -did it well.  Brown or gray the new black, I'll agree without hesitation.  The point being I've done it all and have the closets (yes plural) to pove  my life long obsession with fashion.  And what have I learned from it all? 

That nothing is more versitile, no other item can become more beloved than the perfect tee.  You know the ones I'm talking about.  They go from day tripping to night time debauchery seemlessly.  In fact the longer it's worn the better it looks.  Dressed up or paired with jeans, it's one of those few clothing essentials that can feel as good as it looks.  From intriquitely artworked, to simply stated, to the well caught slogan.  Don't kid yourself -you need them all!

And that's really how Girl Mafia Enterprises started for me.  A girls simple quest for the perfect gear.  The perfect t-shirts (yes plural, if 1 is great 5 is better).  Those daily reflections of how great I feel (or don't feel) about being a chick way out here in the World of Real!
